Translation without any appeal in Les Miserable By Heidi

Les Miserable is one of my favorite movies and I love the songs very much. Recently, I wanted to watch the movie again so I downloaded it from Qianxun. I found that some Chinese translations were so funny. It was obvious that the translators didn't understand the historical background and the deeper meaning of this movie before translating the subtitle.
原文:He took my childhood in his stride.
Do you hear the people sing?Singing a song of angry men?
